Being happy - the four brain hormones and their functions.

The brain produces four hormones when it is properly sensitised.

They are

1. Endorphine - relased when we relaxedly do exercises, walking, play games and do calisthenics etc..

2. Dopamine - is released when we recognise each other, appreciate others, love our fellow beings and cooperate with them

3. Serotonin - is released in the blood when we serve others or live for others, when all our actions have a social benefit motive.

4. Oxytocin - is released into our blood when we socialise / interact / network with others.

Everyday I receive good morning wish from my friends and I reciprocate, it is Dopamine creation. I do regular blood donation and have been experiencing this hormone  a lot in my blood. Of course daily exercises release Endirphine while our daily social interaction and networking release oxytocin to th3e blood.

We dont need to drink alcoholic drinks or take neurotic drugs for that kick.

"If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody." - Chinese Proverb
