Saddest day in US history ..

Another sad and serious day for US in Covid cases and deaths, upto 14 April '20.

A. Total infections so far: 612,320 ( +25,379 on 14 April '20)
B. Total deaths so far : 25,989 ( +2,349 - 14 April, highest deaths so far on any day)
C. Total Recovered : 38,721
D. Present active cases : 547,610

A = B + C + D

E. Serious and critical : 13,473 (from this will come tomorrow's casualities) ..

On one side, the US President, unmindful of casualties and costs in human lives, wants to restart US businesses and kickstart the economy in an election year and latch on to its #1 developed country status.

 On the other hand doctors and healthcare professionals want the country to be on a lockdown to break the chain, contain the virus spread and limit the casualties.

The fear of losing its Superpower status is very much evident in all the actions of US.

With each day of arrogance of it's mighty military influence and power, each day of contemptuousness and disdain for other countries of the world, US is unknowingly pulling itself into a vast abyss of despair and despondency ... 🤔🤔🤔😳

George..
